Our technology converts lignocellulosic biomass into functional building blocks, including wood sugars, Lignova® lignin and Woodcell™ crystalline cellulose. Woodcell™ enables fibre-on-fibre, monomaterial packaging by replacing plastic barrier coatings with a cellulose-based solution compatible with paper recycling streams.

Woodcell™ crystalline cellulose
Woodcell™ crystalline cellulose is a bio-based barrier material for fibre-on-fibre food packaging. Applied as a cellulose coating on paperboard, it replaces fossil-based plastic layers and enables monomaterial, recyclable packaging with grease, moisture and oxygen resistance.

Lignova® lignin
Lignova® lignin is a bio-based building block from wood, produced by Fibenol through advanced valorization technology. Its raw material origins are fully traceable, enabling the material and chemical industries to move beyond fossil-based chemicals toward circular, low-carbon solutions.
