The three-part conference programme is built around future mills, new technologies that promote circularity and carbon neutrality, and innovative wood-based products. In total, the conference will feature nearly 50 world-class presentations.

The Forest Bioeconomy Start-up Competition seeks the most promising and potential forest bioeconomy growth companies.

SOCIAL EVENTS


15 April

After the exhibition day, it’s time to get into the festive spirit of Finnish Wappu! Join us for a joyful celebration filled with traditional Finnish May Day vibes, completed with brass band music and delicious treats. The event takes place at Hall 5 – Main Stage and is open to everyone. Free entry – welcome!

The evening party is a joint event with ChemBio Finland.

EXCURSIONS


17 April

On the final day of the event, participants can choose between two exciting excursions that offer a closer look at Finland’s forest industry and innovation landscape. The excursion locations of 2026 are Kermira Innovation Centre (Espoo), SAPPI Kirkniemi Paper Mill (Lohja), Stora Enso Headquarters (Helsinki) and ABB (Helsinki).

At the Pulp & Beyond you have an opportunity to meet wood processing industry representatives of companies who will introduce you to the employing possibilities in the industry. You will also get inspiring tips for job hunting from the representatives and the event programme!
